How we work: The Diagnose, Decide, Deliver Model

No free proposals. No hope strategies.

Three stages, in order. Each one is only possible because of the one before it.

01 Diagnose

Discovery Session

A paid one hour deep dive into your world for $150, credited in full toward your project fee if we move forward. Real discovery, not a free proposal built on guesswork.

02 Decide

The honest call

The diagnosis tells us which kind of change you actually need: a fast tactical win or a long term strategy that compounds. If we're not the right fit for the whole or parts of the scope, we'll say so and point you to someone who could own it.

03 Deliver

Fixed-fee project, then retainer

A scoped fixed-fee project against the plan we diagnosed and agreed on. not a promise made blind. Once you see tangible results, most clients move to a monthly growth retainer.

Why no free proposals

Free proposals get built on assumptions and hope strategies, because nobody can do real discovery for free. Our process starts with a paid one hour Discovery Session for $150, credited in full toward your project fee if we move forward, because strategy worth paying for is strategy worth paying to build properly.

Stage 2 exists for one reason: to tell you honestly whether what you're asking for is a quick win or a category play. before we build a plan for either.

Discovery Session
$150

Credited in full if we move forward.

One hour. A clear diagnosis of your current solution, its messaging, positioning and gaps, with a concrete recommendation for what to fix first and why. No obligation to engage further. and no pressure if it's not the right fit. If the timing isn't right, we hope you'll keep us in mind.

The BoldStrat promise

Most agencies say yes to everything, committing results with hope strategies. We don't.

Before we say yes, we need to know we can honestly deliver. If we can't, we'll tell you. and point you to someone who will. Because we'd rather lose a brief than lose your trust.

Our AI stance

AI supports the work from the background. It never becomes the identity. Strategy, judgment, key deliverables and creatives, and accountability all stay human.

Why BoldStrat

Human-led means something here.

01

Advisor-backed depth

BoldStrat's work is informed by a senior advisory network with decades of operational experience in Cyber Security and Cyber Resilience, including former CISOs and CTOs who have been on the buy side of the products we market. That depth shapes every strategy we build.

02

No AI boilerplate

Human-led is in our DNA for a reason. Every strategy, every piece of content, every demand generation campaign is built with practitioner judgment, not generated and lightly edited.

03

Domain depth

We stay focused on Cybersecurity and Cyber Resilience. That focus means we understand the landscape, the buyer hierarchy and the competitive dynamics. without a ramp-up.

04

Sized right for startups and SMBs

No bloated retainers designed for enterprise budgets. A flat-fee Discovery Session to start, then a scope built for where you actually are. not where a large agency needs you to be to make the engagement worth their time.

A note from the founder

Why BoldStrat.

Security, compliance, and resilience are some of the most consequential categories in tech right now, and some of the worst understood by the people who need to trust them. I've watched teams building genuinely rigorous GRC platforms and cyber resilience tools struggle to explain that work to a CISO or compliance lead who's judging credibility in the first ten seconds of a landing page. The product was never the problem. Nobody had taught them how to tell the story. That's the gap I started BoldStrat to close, a growth marketing agency built specifically for companies selling into Security, GRC, and Cyber Resilience.

I didn't come to this from a marketing textbook. I came to it through the AI Collective in Seattle, where I lead marketing and spend my time around researchers and founders building emerging technology before it has a name yet. Watching brilliant people fail to explain their own work taught me more about communication than any class did. I study Marketing and Communications at the University of Washington, and I'm also the published author of the Crown of Checkmate, which sounds unrelated until you realize both jobs are the same one: take something complicated, and tell it so clearly that someone who's never seen it before ends up trusting it.

BoldStrat operates with the support of senior practitioners who bring decades of Security, GRC and Cyber Resilience leadership, ensuring our strategies are grounded in how these buyers actually think and decide.
